As 3C’s lead financial advisor, Leon is committed to helping each and every client better prepare for the future. He has an in-depth understanding of personal finance, which he combines with formal training as a financial advisor. After many years in the business, Leon has developed a reputation for educating clients in an easy-to-understand manner so they fully understand how their financial strategies are helping them achieve their objectives.
Leon has more than two decades of financial services experience. Prior to founding 3C Wealth Management, he served as a financial advisor at Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc., Edward Jones, State Farm, and Waddell & Reed.
Leon was raised on a family farm in rural North Missouri. Alongside his parents, and sister Lorraine, he spent his formative years tending to the family’s cow/calf herd, and managing a feedyard (starting yard) on their property. His days consisted of procuring cattle at various sale barns, and purchasing commodities for the starting yard. He took a “hands on” position in all aspects of the cattle operation. Daily cattle feeding, customizing rations, as well as checking pens on horseback looking for sick cattle were all part of his routine. Animal health was of the utmost importance. He provided superior quality and service for the cattle customers that had put their trust in him.
Leon is a Certified Kingdom Advisor (CKA), carries his Life and Health insurance licenses, and has passed the FINRA Series 6, 7, 63, 65, and 66 exams.
He has been an advocate for the Careity Foundation for more than 15 years. In 2024, he was nationally recognized as Volunteer of the Year by Invest in Others for his steadfast support of the Careity Foundation. He has also been active in Rotary for 18 years, and he serves on the financial board of the Parker County Chamber of Commerce.
In his free time, Leon enjoys spending time with family, including his two adult daughters. He also enjoys volunteering in the community, taking road trips, horseback riding, ranching, taking care of cattle, and simply finding time to watch the water of lakes and oceans.
